We are a medium sized family run company looking for a full time permanent Warehouse Manager to join our friendly and committed team of professionals.

Business hours are 08.30 to 17.00 Monday to Friday

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing both stock control and people in a warehouse environment. Key objectives will be to maximise the productivity of the team, review current practices, proposing revisions where appropriate. Accurate stock control will be a main accountability. Provide a strong link between warehouse operations and all other internal departments working closely with the operations and customer service manager.

Key responsibilities

  • Liaise with suppliers and transport companies, ensuring competitive prices and quality of service
  • Liaise with the office key contact to plan, coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, storage and dispatch of goods
  • Ensure stock locations are correct and maintained
  • Have a clear understanding of the company's policies and how the warehouse contributes to these
  • Work with the office key contact to carry out monthly stock checks on primary products, quarterly on machines and an annual stock take of all products
  • Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate
  • Liaise with the office key contact to plan future capacity requirements
  • Develop and implement an ongoing training and development plan for warehouse staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress
  • Manage the annual appraisal process for warehouse staff
  • Motivate, organise and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity is maximised and picking errors are minimised
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment
  • Oversee the planned maintenance of forklifts and equipment
  • Ensure the most cost effective supplies are used i.e. packaging

Key competencies

  • Ideally, previous experience in managing a warehouse
  • Current forklift license for Bendi and Counter Balance forklifts
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
  • Numeracy and an understanding of cost controls
  • Knowledge of the legal and health and safety requirements of operating a warehouse
  • People management skills, including the ability to inspire, lead and motivate others, delegate work and explain ideas

The initial training period will be working to a structured induction plan. In return we will provide a stable family friendly and positive environment. 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays and closure between 25th December and 1st January.

Trainee Warehouse Operative

In-Store Product Demonstrators

Nationwide

Due to our continued growth within our large multiple retailers we are now looking to recruit a further number of In-Store Product Demonstrators to showcase our SEBO products across the country.

As a retail In-Store Product Demonstrator, you will be communicating directly with customers in a sales and public relations capacity. Demonstrators will showcase SEBO products highlighting their benefits, value, and reliability. You will make them desirable to potential customers and in turn boost sales at a retail store level.

Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills are required to effectively communicate with customers individually and in groups.

To be successful, you must be able to establish a quick rapport with a wide variety of people and communicate in a style that is likable and persuasive. You must be respectful and considerate with customers at all times.

Prior experience of selling/demonstrating electrical items and direct customer contact is desirable as is the knowledge and use of proper safety practices when handling electrical products.

Our In-store product demonstrators are expected to be professional and articulate, and be an ambassador of the SEBO Brand but also to the retail stores to which you will be working in.

Retail in-store product demonstrators must be prepared to travel and engage in hands on product demonstrations.
